I went to the “Tulip Festival 2025” being held at the National Kiso Sansen Park Center in Kaizu City, Gifu Prefecture. The festival will be held from March 22 to April 13, 2025, and the opening hours are from 9:00 to 17:30.
The day I visited was March 31, and the tulips were just starting to bloom. According to the official website, as of March 31, the tulips have bloomed considerably. The cherry blossoms in the park have also begun to bloom, making me feel the arrival of spring.
The large flower bed in the park is designed with the motif of a “river flow,” and the tulips, which resemble a gentle river flow, create a space with depth and breadth. The vivid blue of the muscari is reminiscent of the flow of the “Kiso Sansen” River, and you can enjoy a very beautiful landscape.
During my visit, I was able to enjoy both tulips and cherry blossoms, which was a wonderful experience that made me feel the arrival of spring. I’m sure more flowers will bloom in the future. Everyone should definitely come and visit.
